About Destination Holiday Trek
Experience the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayas with one of Nepal’s leading trekking and expedition companies. Based in Kathmandu, Destination Holiday Trek & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. is a proudly Sherpa family run company established in 2017, specializing in professionally guided trekking, peak climbing, mountaineering expeditions, cultural tours, and adventure holidays across Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan.
Our founder, Furtemba Sherpa, began as a porter and rose through every role in the mountains, from kitchen staff to sardar (lead guide) to professional climbing guide. With more than 18 years in the Himalayas and summits on Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, and Makalu, he leads with the experience of a climber and the heart of a porter.
Being a Sherpa family run company means we bring generations of mountain expertise, authentic Himalayan culture, and deep respect for nature into every journey. Our government licensed guides, skilled climbers, and support staff are passionate about exceptional service, with safety as our top priority.
We offer a wide range of tailor-made and fixed departure packages, from iconic treks like Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, and Manaslu Circuit to challenging expeditions on peaks such as Island Peak, Lobuche East, and 8000-meter giants. Whether you are a beginner seeking a cultural trekking experience or an experienced climber aiming for high-altitude expeditions, we customize every trip to match your needs, pace, and interests.
At Destination Holiday Trek, we believe that travel is more than just reaching a destination — it’s about creating meaningful connections with people, culture, and nature. Our goal is to provide safe, personalized, and unforgettable Himalayan experiences while promoting responsible tourism, supporting local communities, and preserving the pristine mountain environment.
Our Vision
We aim to redefine Himalayan adventure with a strong focus on safety, trust, and real mountain experience. Our team of five young, passionate mountaineers personally leads every trek and expedition, from the beginning of the journey to the summit.

As modern Himalayan climbers with strong roots and training, we stay with you through every challenge, from weather and terrain to the summit push, so you are never alone on the journey.
