Pikey Peak Trek – A Hidden Gem of the Lower Everest Region

The Pikey Peak Trek is one of Nepal’s most scenic and less-crowded trekking adventures, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan giants, including Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri—all from a single viewpoint.

Rising to an altitude of 4,065 meters, Pikey Peak is famous for having one of the best sunrise and sunset views of Everest, praised even by Sir Edmund Hillary as his favorite Everest viewpoint. This beautiful trek takes you through peaceful Sherpa villages, ancient monasteries, rhododendron forests, yak pastures, and pristine alpine landscapes.

Perfect for beginners, families, and trekkers seeking a quieter alternative to the busy Everest Base Camp route, the Pikey Peak Trek combines natural beauty, authentic Sherpa culture, and moderate adventure.
