From Soti Khola, trekkers ascend towards Jagat and then reach Lokpa, marking the entrance to the Tsum Valley. After an overnight stay, the trek continues to Mu Gompa, the northernmost point of the journey, known for its ancient monastery and breathtaking Himalayan panoramas.

According to local legends, the Buddhist master Milarepa meditated in caves within this valley. The Shear Khola River, which originates from the Ganesh Himal glacier, flows through Tsum Valley and eventually merges with the Budhi Gandaki River.

For the return journey, trekkers take a slightly different route, descending through Phurbe and stopping at Rachen Gompa on the ninth day. The trek then heads south toward Domje, where a detour leads to the stunning Ganesh Himal Base Camp (4,800m) via Gumba Lungdang.

After exploring Ganesh Himal, the trail winds back to Lokpa and continues down to Jagat. The final stretch takes trekkers through Lapu Bensi and back to Arughat, where a local bus will transport them to Kathmandu, concluding an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the Himalayas.
